Retreat Registration is Now Open!
Reeling & Healing Midwest volunteer opportunities are available at our retreats, fundraisers, and other outings and activities. Knowledge of fly-fishing is not a prerequisite.
Please note that submitting the necessary paperwork does not register you as a volunteer for a retreat or any other event. Your application will be reviewed and, if criteria are met and space is available, will be confirmed. Confirmation will be made by mail or email.

Details for Retreat Volunteering
New Participant Retreat:
Reeling & Healing Midwest requests a fee to confirm and hold your slot at a retreat. As there are many individuals interested in volunteering, and space is limited, the fee for New Participant Retreats is $25.00. The only other cost to a volunteer is a one-day fishing license. This cost ranges from $7-$9 depending on the age and residency.
Reunion Retreats:
The fee for the Reunion Retreats varies depending on the duration
and location of the retreat. Please consult the Retreat Registration Form for the correct fees. Fees covers food, beverage,
amenities and lodging (where applicable). Each volunteer intending to guide/fish is required to own/purchase a valid fishing license. The cost
of a daily fishing license ranges from $7-$9 depending on age and residency.

on Your Application to Volunteer at a Retreat:
No fees are processed until confirmation of your attendance at a specific retreat(s) has been completed.
The Cancellation Policy exists due to pre-retreat expenses. Notice of cancellation by a Volunteer must be made in writing and confirmed by Retreat Coordinator. Request for change of date in the same calendar year will be honored, if possible, when received 15-29 days prior to confirmed retreat date. Registrant will be placed on a waiting list for an alternate date if an opening is not available at the time of request. There is no guarantee an alternate date will be available. To cover a portion of expenses incurred, Reeling and Healing Midwest reserves the right to assess a cancellation fee for those made 3 days or less prior to the retreat’s start date or for failure to attend.
Credit card guarantee required if registering within 14 days of a retreat. Normal credit card processing fees apply.
